The Launch of Campaign “Nursing Now – Russia”
On March 19th 2020 the Nursing Now Russia Campaign will be launched. WHO, ICN, Nursing Now leaders as well as Representatives of the Russian Government and nursing& midwifery leaders of Russia and Europe will address participants on top priority issues of nursing, midwifery and healthcare: advanced scope of practice, transformational education, human resources for health and issues of equal pay and safe work environment.
This would be the most representative Conference on nursing and midwifery in Russia with a focus on changed policies and strategies in developing professions and their role in the current and future National Health System.
The event would be attended by speakers and guests from more than 20 countries and National associations of the Region and more than 700 professionals and leaders representing all parts of Russia.
On March 20th this Conference will be followed by a special workshop developed by ICN and EFNNMA for the leaders of national associations of the Region. During this workshop nursing leaders representing 13 countries of WHO European Region will discuss and develop strategies on strengthening both the associations, their role in health policies development and implementation and opportunities to advance nursing practice on a higher level.
