My name is Jessica. I graduated with my CEGEP degree in nursing in June 2020 and started working on my unit about 2 days after. This is a picture of me about a week into orientation with mascara running down my face, visor, and mask. Underneath it all, I had a smile on my face. Although my introduction to the real world of nursing was during a pandemic, I am so grateful to be doing what I love most. I am helping those in need during such a stressful time in the world. There are so many negatives in the world right now but the connections I’ve made and the people I’ve met make it all worth it.
